"Historical" Historical Societies



Historical Society publications typically have information on the history of the place, and perhaps mention some of the people that live there. Check the table of contents to see what is in the issue. 



Most will give a list of members....



Some will give names, addresses and when the person joined the Society...




Some give an index to marriages, burials or memorials. 
Look for Historical Society publications where your ancestors lived.
